BR Plumbing & Gas Fitting is looking for a HVAC Apprentice 3rd Or 4th Year (Retro Work) in Edmonton, AB.

BR Plumbing & Gas Fitting LTD. is a fast growing plumbing and heating company on Edmonton’s south side and we are looking to welcome an additional service technician to our team. Our work includes both residential and commercial projects throughout the Edmonton area. The ideal candidate brings a positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and proven service experience. This role is ideal for an apprentice who is passionate about the trade, enjoys working on retrofit projects, and is eager to continue developing their skills under the guidance of experienced journeymen and project managers.

Some of your daily tasks include:

• Assist in the installation, replacement, and modification of HVAC systems in retrofit projects.
• Work alongside senior technicians to complete ductwork, piping, and equipment installation.
• Troubleshoot existing systems and support service modifications when needed.
• Safely operate power tools, hand tools, and HVAC equipment.
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and job layouts.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area according to company safety standards.

This full-time position is starting at $28.00 – $34.00 an hour.

• Registered apprentice in the 3rd or 4th year of an HVAC/R program.
• Previous hands-on experience in retrofit or commercial/residential HVAC installation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Commitment to safety practices and continuous learning.
